I have an 88 trans am gta with a digital dash and am thinking about changing it over to led bulbs, is there a kit I can buy to make sure I get the right ones?
I'd give M&R Electronics a call. They just repaired my 1988 Delco radio, resoldering the boards, replacing capacitors. I really don't know if they work on digital dashes, but they do install other car electronic besides just radios. The guy I spoke to there seemed very sharp. I bet they could rebuild a digital dash; it wouldn't hurt to ask. It's the same sort of work really, putting together the right parts, whether that results in a radio or a digital display.
It just uses the standard 194 sized LEDs and the turn signals uses N10s IIRC. Go to superbrightleds for some high quality bulbs. Do not replace the one bulb that is on the board that doesnt light up. That is for testing and troubleshooting only. Honestly not a big deal to do. Just do not break it when you take the screens off the boards.
