85 mph to 140 mph gauge cluster

Hi guys, my car is an 85 Trans Am, it had a TPI 305 with the 700 trans, It also has an 85 mph cable driven speedo. I'm trying to swap in the 140 mph electronically driven speedo/cluster. Looking for some how to info.

Why not just replace the speedo? They do come in a 145 mph cable-driven version.

1st I didn't know that. 2nd I already bought the new cluster and the stuff to get the right signal from the trans to the speedometer. And last, they look better imo.

And I have 4:10 gears in and they don't make the gear I need to correct my speedo.
