Obtain switches, and then measure. Its the only way to properly size the hole. Or buy a panel from a car that already had them.

cutting the holes the correct size is half of it. they also need to be centered properly in the panel. ideally, like the man says, you create a template from an existing panel.

I have done this with a console that did not have the holes. If you take the console out, it should have the hole outlines on the underneath side of the console (pattern is molded in the bottom side of the plastic). That was my experience. If you use a dremel type tool, it can get out of hand on you easily, and your buttons will not fit good. Make pilot holes on all four corners and use a straight edge between or some similar technique, and go to the inside (smaller hole) of the pattern. GL
