Re: Headliner replacement

You can get the repro from any number of places, that doesn't fit very well. Or you can find another decent OEM and re-cover it

Re: Headliner replacement

if u have all the pieces, that stuff soaks up fg resin really well, then u can reinforce it with a little fg cloth on the inside and make it werk - if u have all the little pieces.....

Re: Headliner replacement

Mine was a hardtop and the dog ears (seat belt pass through area) were rough after removing and PO tried spray adhesive on the rest... The recovery room in Vermont restored my original and even found a near exact headliner fabric which matched up nicely. Was like $300 for the job but he was adamant the reproduction wouldn’t cut the mustard. Either find a guy who can fix or find a good used original if your going for the all original look for shows etc.

Re: Headliner replacement

Re: Headliner replacement

Hi
I recovered mine last winter, not really that difficult, and turned out nice.
The board can be repaired with fibreglass ,and the material is easily sourced
Good luck
