Seat belt Q that any 3rd gen owner can answer for me!
hey all,
When you jerk your seat belt a bit, does it lock? No matter how hard a yank on mine, it won't lock.
All of my other modern cars lock, but this new-to-me 91 TA doesn't lock no matter how hard I try.
I ask as I was testing this on my passenger belt recently, and pulled it all the way out and it locked up and won't retract, and I need to send it away to be refurbed.
My driver side retracts and acts just fine, but if it's supposed to lock up when you yank on it, I'll send it away to be inspected/refurbed just to be sure.

It has an inertia lock, pulling on it won't activate it. Jack up the front or the rear of the car and it will lock when you pull on it
