aftermarket steering wheel

I'd like the Grant 691 with Grant 3196 horn/wheel adapter. Trying to figure if it will have the correct "dish" and keep the wheel in the stock position on my 86 TA..

Re: aftermarket steering wheel

Should be close enough, but that steering wheel is too small. It's 13-3/4 inch diameter while the stock one is 14-1/2 inch ( which is already pretty small). It also has a couple bad reviews on Summit...

Re: aftermarket steering wheel

also.. 90 to 92 Camaros with air bag..you will need the end cap (shaft cover) # 11 not # 27 that comes in all the other 3rd gen horn kits.. this will Save/keep you from having to cut your cap/cover down. so it don't drag on the steering column. . all caps are marked with # for depth and diameter.. seen alot of good wright ups ..for the 90 to 92 wheel swaps..and all want ya to cut the caps..(just get the right cap).. all cap/covers are stamped with the size #.

the 2 caps are 4" in diameter. cap#27 on left cap #11 on the right..almost a full 1/4" shorter..= no cutting! just a heads up with the info...to make things easy..if ya need it.. they also make them in 4 1/2 in diameter. if ya want to cover the gap/space between the cap and column..
