Im struggling with the new aftermarket radio and my 87 firebird ta
because the radio doesnt turn on. I guess the problem
is that when i use multimeter and check the voltages and the problem is the orange cabel what should be the constant 12v but it shows only 0v and that should be always hot right? Yellow ignition wire gives normal parameters and thats okay. So i checked the main fusebox and the radio fuse is fine. But i have read the forum and there should be 2nd fusebox and i think the the arc radio fuse has gone so can you guys help me with this
What you are looking for is the convenience center fuses, you have to remove the drivers side hush panel below the dash (only a few small bolts) and it comes right out. Then you have to get under there and start looking towards the center console/radio pod and it should be tucked up in there IIRC.
