hey guys i have a 87 firebird with a v6. im trying to swap my cluster but having a hard time.my old cluster has a cable and the new one is electronic.
can i get a vss and put it in my transmission and then wire everything up.im trying to go from lights to gauges any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Tpi parts.net has a retrofit Vss, you could get one and a Vss buffer box and use a newer cluster but might be easier and cheaper to use a older cable drive speedometer.
