Hi all,

I have an 86 trans am with manual door locks. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but they will not lock with the key from the outside (I can only unlock them from the outside)

Is this the intended behavior? Or are you supposed to be able to lock the doors with the key from the outside?

If this is a known issue, any suggestions?

 

You should be able to lock/unlock both doors from the outside, with the key of course! Looks like you may need to remove the door panel to see what's preventing you from locking the door/s.
