I just picked up some 4th gen seats at a great price.
I have split rears so I know that the solid rear will work but the 2 center latch posts may show. They will do for now till I redo or find better original seats. Plus they are power and my original ones aren’t.
the rear seat back has these bolts sticking out on each side. Any ideas what attaches there ?
yes the top.
trying to find them. I thought that’s what they were.
Thx
Those rear belt brackets are a part of the rear shoulder belt assembly itself. if your car has factory rear lap belts those are not used/needed,... if your car had factory rear shoulder belts then the belt bracket is still on the rear belt assembly
.
I didn’t know that 4th gens had solid rear seat back in them, guess I assumed that everything was split from the later 80’s cars. I was going to convert my lap belts to 3-pointers on my ‘86 (for the kids safety and mom’s approval) but did this instead
