WTB: Windshield Rear View Mirror
I'm aware of the aftermarket upgrades available however I'm just looking for a simple replacement for my 86 Coupe rear view mirror. I don't care for the auto dimming, GPS laden, thermometer versions (although they are nice)
The aftermarket "replacement" I bought was only 2/3rds the size of the OEM. And the spare I had I dropped on installation (hopefully not 7 years bad luck but it hasn't been great the last half decade for any of us!).
Anyway, if someone has one and you can manage to ship it to Canada, I'm all ears.
Thanks in advance.

I's got a few spare GM mirrors,.... not sure exactly what your looking for but I've got a couple. There's a few auto dimming with duel map-lights ( I need to put one in my S10 ASAP ! ) and I think there's a couple with just map-lights too. Not sure if I saved any of the basic original "manual" mirrors -----> but maybe.
LMK if you have a preference & I'll dig around to see if I can match your need.

This is my 2nd stab at it (the first score was subsequently dropped during install !) and I figured I'd keep it among the community. If a forum member has it and doesn't need it, it's probably a sale in my favour as opposed to an E-Bay-er who has one and needs to finance his kids college tuition!

Re: WTB: Windshield Rear View Mirror
When I checked I didn't have any of the original factory Thirdgen Camaro / Firebird rear view mirrors. I remember they had a metal case and they didn't hold up well over time. I don't remember ditching them - but I can't find them now and think I tossed em'
Since the last time I wrote here I replaced the basic stock mirror in my 01' S10 and installed a GM auto dimming one in it's place. Didn't know if you were still looking or if this would interest you, but wanted to upload the pics in case you were still looking:

Ya' I forgot you were in Canada and the cost to ship would be way more than it's worth. Glad you found a cheap alternative !
