LT1 - carbureted -

I have an LT1 350 with cast iron heads and an aluminum gm performance 4bbl intake manifold. this motor is complete from oil pan to air cleaner including starter and flexplate and the stock serpentine system, a 600cfm edelbrock carb(#1406) and stock HEI ignition. My car had a bare wire grounding out which burnt the alternator up so it will need replaced or rebuilt. I have about 2 or three extras i'd throw in that I believe are also bad but all are the 140 amp version.

Had it in my 91 camaro until blow-by from the valve cover breather became a problem. Other than that it still runs great!! Have no clue on the miles as my car doesnt have a working odometer. The previous owner said it only had 65,000 on it and i'm guessing i put on another 20k..

I am asking $900 for the complete setup.. obo.. I will try to get some pics up asap...

Re: LT1 - carbureted -

You have any interest in parting out? As in all the carburated swap parts (manifold, carb, distributor, timing cover and block off)?

Re: LT1 - carbureted -

Thanks Cb ,

What year is your engine? I know the 95-97 Lt's needed the blockoff plate but not sure about previous years. Also can you put some pics up of the intake, distributor, and timing cover? I'm thinking like $300 plus shipping? let me know what you think.

I don't suppose the engine is overbored? I'm looking for some .030 flattop pistons with 5.7 rods.

Ken.

Re: LT1 - carbureted -

price sounds good to me.. ill get the numbers and some pics up for you soon.. (sorry its takin so long but ive been having to use my ps3 to get online until my comp gets fixed)

im thinking it must be the older style though cuz i took the water pump off and looked for a plate but its just a one piece cover..

the lower end has never been touched so no luck on the pistons

i do have some std pistons for a stroker motor that are still new in the box if anybodies interested..

i would also like to sell the remaining parts of this motor if any body wants the longblock or shortblock.. still have the serpentine braket, ac comp, p/s pump, balancer, starter, flexplate, water pump, valvecovers, oil pan. make an offer..
