the buyer will need the machine shop to redrill and press in a new guide. you will want this done when you install the valves since it means cutting the seat to match the guide.
below are the springs that caused the failure and pictures of the head for those interested

you have to look close to even see the crack but its there and the reason I had it welded. I Will post pictures of the now welded spot once I go back into the attic. I had some pictures but I just cant find them.
these are 241 castings that have no marking giving away they have been CNCed or any work was done
setup for 2.02 intake valves
this is the flow chart from when I purchased the heads
Int.
.200 - 140 cfm
.300 - 200 cfm
.400 - 247 cfm
.500 - 281 cfm
.600 - 290 cfm
Exh.
.200 - 110 cfm
.300 - 144 cfm
.400 - 180 cfm

.600 - 220 cfm
Im looking for $200.00 or trades. I would rather do a local pick up since UPS likes to trash stuff

I'm in Janesville WI just north of Beloit,
trade for what pm interested if you ship

Janesville isn't far from me. I could possibly come get them thursday. could you post a pic of the repaired area? also how many guides/seats have to replaced?
Thanks,
Kory

here is the welded picture. you only need to have the one guide installed and the seat (cut/reground) as the machine shop says this is needed when a guide is replaced to insure the seat is true to the guide. once this is done some simple touch up with the dremel to cut down the weld to match the rest of the ports

so to clarify
you will need the machine shop to
1- drill and install one replacement guide then you or machine shop grinds the weld down to match the other ports
2- grind the seat as you would for a valve job
3- since you would be installing new valves it would basically be number 2
4- springs to match the cam your using

ok cool. thanks
ok, what he said was I can figure on roughly $130.00 the guide bore probably will need to be reamed oversize for an over sized guide. fit the guide , recut the valve seat and blend the port back in
sold pending payment
