evap question

I searched but didn't find exactly what i was looking for. I will be doing a ls1 swap eventually, EVENTUALLY, so i would like to know about the evap syatem. I understand how to run the lines to the motor from the 4th gen tank. My question is, where do you install the return line in the engine bay? I don't have an ls1 in front of me but is there a place on the engine the return line hooks to?

Thanks and sorry if this is redundant,
Brandon

I guess you didnt search hard enough bro LOL!!! You should have a fuel T to tie together the Supply and Return together. The only lines that run to the front of the car is supply and EVAP, check this pic that i made.

Do we need to hook the silonoid at the charcoal canister of the 4th gen tank up to use the 4th gen emissions, or will it work as long as the silonoid by the fuel rails are attached.

Return line hooks up to the other line coming off the rail (EVAP). You can buy braided line an adapters for both fuel and EVAP, but honestly hose and clamps is fine for return/EVAP.

oh so off the fuel rail is an evap line? That makes sense now.

I hope i can find an engine so i can start this swap. I gonna have to buy a s10 for a daily driver first because my car will be down for a few weeks

Evap

I still got a 3rd gen tank in my ls1 swap, thing is the 4th gen had the pressure sensor in the tank to purge vapor into the canister/intake , unless you got the sensor and the computer programmed to do this you dont need a evap canister. I looked around for info on how to do the setup also, I guess it comes down to what all you got and customizing it. Also If you got local emissions tests you need it. If you have the 4th gen tank in I would just take the vapor line from the sending unit and take it to the canister then canister to the vapor line on your frame-to engine and then run that into the intake purge. have you canister in the rear like the 4th gens. I hope this helps

I saw the other way on ls1tech.com with a corvette part not sure exactly atm the setup so not gona try to get into it sorry,
