Re: lt1 swap
I had the TPI out and LT1 in about a 1-1/2 days mainly because it my motor mount was backwards and I couldn't get it to sit properly. I probably took another 3 days on the wiring just to be sure I had it right. Its not a long process as long as you have everything you need at hand before you do the swap. This was my first time doing an engine swap, period. However, working out the kinks seems like its taking forever.
Good luck,
Jay

Re: lt1 swap
I can't remember exactly but I had think it was about 12 or so. I had my harness modified by Dana @ LT1350.com so it made it a little easier because everything was labeled.

Well, let's see.....injector power (switched), ignition power (switched), PCM power (switched), PCM power (constant hot), oil pressure, temp, battery, purple ignition wire, fans, check engine, serial data (for the ALDL), speedo, tach....
that should just about cover it.
that should just about cover it.

Re: lt1 swap
it doesnt sound to hard at all it thats the only connections that have to be made. im pretty experinced with wiring and stuff. im gonna have like 10 days to do it do yall think it could be done in that amount of time
Re: lt1 swap
10 days shouldn't be a problem. I would try to have fuel and powersteering lines handy and ready to go though so you don't have to spend a lot of time futzing with them.
