Will the GTO accesories and headers work?

I may be able to get a hold of an 06 LS2 from a wrecked GTO. I was wondering if the accessories would fit without having to make modifications to the frame, or do I need to get the vette setup. I was also wondering if the stock manifolds would work if I had a custom y-pipe built. Since there aren't any LS2 f-body setups, I wasn't sure if I just wanted to get the shorty setups for LS1 and have a custom y-pipe built.

Since I'm running so close the the ground, I need all the clearance I can get and I think that I would would be out of room with the Hawks LTs.

Thanks In Advance

LS1 headers will work. The LS2 heads are just LS6 heads, 243 castings. They'll bolt right up to it as there is no difference.

The headers may bolt to the heads, but will they fit in the chassis?

No, they will hit the K-Member. No matter if it's Stock or the aftermarket Tubeframe.

For accesories: You have to notch the K-Member for the A/C or use the Tubeframe.

I don't recomend the aftermarket K-Member for anything but the Track.

I think I missed what you were saying. If I get it right this time, you're saying LS1 swap headers for 3rd gen will fit the LS2.

yes and no, yes the accersories will work no problem, but gto headers, manifolds no,no, and no. Use 4th gen manifolds or the hawks headers but that was with a sphone k-member. this is what we used

If you have headers that fit an LS1, then they will fit an LS2.

AS mentioned above, the AC will hit the K-member (even with the BMR K-member). I never had the stock manifolds, so I don't now if they'll work.

Re: Will the GTO accesories and headers work?

Well, it sounds like I should try to get a block with out the accessory brackets and use an aftermarket setup like Street and Performance high-mount setup or something like that.

The guy sold the all everything already, but I'm still looking around for an LS2 setup. Thanks for all the info.
