swap question and pics of H/C LS1
So finally have some time to continue the project. Here's the engine, Patriot Stage II heads, 59 cc with TR 224 cam on a 114 lobe, LS6 intake ported TB....

Now here is where i stand as far as wiring, which i would consider my leat knowledgeable area. Is there anything I have to keep from under the hood or can i just start ripping everything out. i'll be using a 4th dash w/AC eventually and I'm waiting on getting my LS1 harness back from lt1wiring. They will be extending, removing unnecessary wires and adding relays to make it stand alone.

I know I'm a little slow and pretty dense, but I'm confused - what do you mean in your subjectline by "pics of H/C LS1"?

But yeah anyone have info regarding the stock wiring? I've searched and it seems as if most people rip everything out and just run the pink ignition wire and the power to the battery?

Carryover from the old BB days of no bandwidth, I presume.

So i found out that i can start from my stock computer and pull anything anything related to that, I'm just not sure as far as the relays that are under the hood on the drver's side. i believe they affect the power to the dashboard, wipers, headlights, etc?

Nice, having just put in my engine, I can sympathize with that whole "now what" feeling of an empty engine bay.
Looks like fun..
For wiring and the like I would highly recommend getting the helms manual for your car.. I have a master manual for my 82 and it have been invaluable..

Re: swap question and pics of H/C LS1
I removed all wiring and such and kept only my heater control wires which come out from the middle of the firewall above the trans tunnel. My harness had pigtails for a fan relay, and fuel pump relay. so basically other than wipers, everything else i removed and kept the battery wires from my original harness to tap into power for the ls1 harness. pretty simple
