Where to splice in to the check engine / MIL

Where to splice in to the check engine / MIL
I know what wire it is on the ls1 harness. Where does it come out at a good spot on our cars to splice in to it?

there should be a wire going from your gauges to your old computer that controlled the MIL in the cluster before. My guess is that would work, but I havnt tried it yet.

i think it is in the c207 connector under the passenger side dash.
