Re: some pics of my ls1/t56 swap

Nice job! What are you running for a cat back? Is there any chance of getting some vids of it idling, and maybe some part throttle/WOT throttle runs?

Im asking because I see your y-pipe is similar to mine, and you have the random tech cats installed. Ive been toying with this idea for some time now, mainly to cut down on the rasp and refine the sound of my exhaust alittle bit. Just curious as to how different it sounds...youre one of the few to be running a catted Y I think...

Again...nice work!

Nice, not a bad job at all. I'm diggin the ground clearance you were able to come up with on the exhaust setup.

Im convinced that the setups involve a double hump crossmember (bought or homebrew) and a custom y-pipe. I dont scrape on anything. I havent been over a speed bump yet that even touched a pipe.

IROCBMX did a nice job tucking it all esp with the cats included. Wish there were aftermarket solutions that fit as well as the custom ones...would have saved me a lot of time and headache. Good stuff!

Good job on getting it done!
A/C I'm jealous.
I started to put A/C in mine but the box just hogs too much room.

I run longtubes and true duals but use the double hump cross member and it gives awesome clearance, same as his pics.
The LS1 made it super quiet vs the 406 though. My car is quieter then a stock on I think.

Re: some pics of my ls1/t56 swap

Count me in on wanting to know how the A/C worked out.
Also on how it tucked in. I am thinking of going this route.
Nice job.

Re: some pics of my ls1/t56 swap

Thanks on all the complements so far. To answer ghettocruiser's question, I would like to put up video clips of the car, but i don't have access to a video camera, but if a do i will. the cats do cut down on some of the raspiness though, as for clearence, i only scrap on tall speedbumps, but its not horrible. The a/c isn't charge yet, i brought it over to a shop a few weeks ago and forgot to install the orafice tube, so i fix that and will have to try again in maybe in the next few weeks, I will keep you guys updated. I also will be installing a midwest chassis sheetmetal fab 9" in the next couple of weeks and I will keep you guys updated with that as well.
