Re: my LSx 87 IROC build
i guess you will just
a bit more theni have the G-Force Sports and love them.
they broke my trans lol.
i did a good burnout, let off the brake, they hooked, i got the worst wheel hop ive ever had, trans broke the next day. it was a catastrophic failure
on the old tires, i could do that exact same thing, but they never gripped enough to get wheel hop

Sweet!!! Did you get that CTS-V set up from Flynbye? Are you using the stock Brake booster and distribution block? How well do they bite? I´ve been looking/drooling over a set up like that my self for a looong time. I looks really nice behind those Z06 rims too.

WOW
those CTS-V brakes really fill those wheels up nicely. I can't wait till I start making enough money at my job to afford a nice brake setup like this, I'm thinking about going with the C6 Zo6 brakes with mine. I suppose the minimum wheels size for these brakes are 18"?

these brakes feel good and grab pretty darn good.

Re: my LSx 87 IROC build
So your PCM has to be connected to the in-tank sending unit in order to receive, process, and send a fuel level reading to the gauge on your dash.

it is hooked up, but for whatever reason the gauge doesnt work. it worked fine on the 4th gen before i removed it. i thing it might be because i have the evap system disabled

First off amazing car...Few questions? Where did you get the small GM emblems that are in front of the rear wheels? What kind of exhaust tips were on previously (the oval ones)? And where did you get the GM powered decal on windshield? Also what was involved to smooth out the grill to get the 69 camaro bowtie on? Thanks keep up the great work...

Re: my LSx 87 IROC build
those are gm parts. the oval tips where off sometype of bmw i believe. i believe magnaflow carries them as well. the grill has filler on it. the bowtie was placed once it was smootherned out.

Re: my LSx 87 IROC build
few updates on the car. some bad news i didnt get to run the car at l.a. invasion im hoping to get a stronger diff but now
just few days ago i was trying to haul *** and shift into second and i struggled putting it in.
it does not whine, doesn't not grind or pop out of gear. same thing for 3rd gear. but it just doesn't go in smooth like before. yet alone the pro 5.0 shifter is kinda choppy but its just getting hard.. it drives normal shifting under 3k.
im not pushing 400rwhp. its a daily driver
any suggestions?
low on tranny oil ?
i re bleed my hydraulics and greased up by the pivot on the shifter. it looked dry felt a bit better but still .
i believe i have a tiny leak from my rear main seal can this be the key to this problem? moisture on the clutch ?
im going to drain out the tranny fluid tmrw. if not its time to drop the tranny.
a better excuse to cut up my exhaust piping and re do it all.
my front shocks are shot and a part of the tie rod end scraped on om ac compressor and busted it.. so right now i have no a/c
on the good side ive been waiting on konis yellow adjustables for the past 4 months. i just got a confirmation that i will be receiving them next week!.
now im looking fro strut mounts either stock replacement or umi camber kit.
tie rod ends, center link, alignment and new front tires.

**** it sux to have to wait that long for a pair of Konis. Good that they are finally in their way, otherwise it would probalby been alot faster if i bougt them "off the shelf" here in Sweden and shipped them to US for you. Koni shox are made in Holland. Normally it´s always the other way round, everything I need is over there in America.

Re: my LSx 87 IROC build
believe it or not the paint is 4 years old.. my front end was repainted a couple of months ago because i got hit by some lame. i always clay bar my car.. polish it. wax it.. you name it. lol i rarely pay attention to my sheels.. imo i hate chrome lol . i would love to have some lighter aluminum finished wheels.
but the photographer works his magic.. a lot of lighting was used because it was close to 7p.m. hard to explain but i cant give out his secrets lol

I think it takes so long for them to get manufactured is because our Camaros are low priority cars for the Koni company. Thay are selling far more shocks for Audi´s and BMW´s etc.
Yepp I live in Sweden, in the very north of Sweden, thats why my LS2 swap is taking so damn long...

The new pics are absolutely amazing. I just got done with painting the enginebay yesterday, the rest of my car already have a supersweet paintjob since about 2-3 years back, but my LS2/T56 swap is taking forever, so It´s gonna take untill next summer untill it´ll be out for nice photoshoots like your´s. GREAT SOURCE OF INSPIRATION.

hate to thread-dig... I've been away from the f-body scene for too long
is the 4th gen gas tank interchangeable with the third gen unit? I found a small replacement aluminum fuel cell for a 4th gen that I would like to install in my 91 RS drag project.
Also where can I find one of those extended 3 piece spoilers!
