I'm using the Trans-Dapt adapter plates (that I bought from a certain moderator-type individual) w/ the stock motor mounts.EDIT: Now comes the "INTERESTING" part of the swap - bolting on the front accessories while retaining the engine's variable-valve-timing functionality. I've always heard (over & over) that to do so, I'd need to retain the truck's serpentine accessory drive setup. Well, five7 & I brainstormed a little bit today, & we just MAY have figured out how to make it all "play nicely" together...

You wouldnt happen to have a closer picture of those adapter plates would you V8Rumble? I am using similar units made by Sheldon, but I dont have "instructions" so I am not sure which way they are supposed to bolt up.

I sure hope you succeed. I'm a big fan of the VVT now that COMP CAMS has embraced it and offers us some cams for the LSes that use it.

The best way that I can think to describe it is that the longest side is at the top (as Sheldon said), & the side that's cut diagonally goes to the front of the car. I hope that's enough to be helpful...

Well, I went out there & took a few pics in an attempt to show how they're mounted, but the clamshells do a terrific job of hiding the plates, so that didn't work so well.
