Any Magnacharged lsx thirdgens?

Ive got an 88 gta with an ls1, I just bought a radix magnacharger. I was wondering if anyone has done this yet? I know speartech has used the truck blower on their car, just looking for advice on this supercharger swap.

Will a LSX magnacharger fit underneath a strut tower brace on a thirdgen?

I doubt it, but why dismiss a blower over a STB interference

Re: Any Magnacharged lsx thirdgens?

the only thing hawks had to do in order to fit the magnacharger underneath the stock formula hood was cut some of the under hood support in the middle of course. definatly would not work with a strut tower brace. when we started the build nobody was sure if the stock hood was going to work, and I am very glad it did.
everytime I go somewhere and pop the hood, people are just blown away by the magnacharger...no pun intended. basically a bolt on only ls1 motor with a cam and tvs 1900. put it on a dyno down in Houston and it made 508 rwhp. maggie's rock!
