LT1 alternator hitting valve cover
So I'm about 85% through swapping a LT1 into my 92 RS, and I was bolting all the accessory brackets on to the engine today in preperation for dropping it in and I found that my alternator will not clear the aftermarket valve cover. I'd gotten a set of tall covers: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PRO-141-131/ for 2 reasons, one they look better than the stock ones, and two I'd been told that since I was using full roller rockers that I'd need the additional clearance. I'm still using the stock cam, and the rockers are the stock 1.5 ratio. Has anyone ran into this situation? Do I have enough clearance with the stock covers for the rockers?

Not sure I really want to go grinding on the alternator, so before I do that, does anyone know if roller rockers will clear the stock valve covers?
