Would I see any gains from ported 706 heads over regular 706 heads with the following setup in my 91?

2004 5.3L – LS6 cam – stock fbody ex manis – LS6 intake

I was more curious if the fbody exhaust manifolds would be a restriction at that point.

 

I"m using ported 799's with stock F body manifolds but with a bigger cam. Really dont know what kind of gain you will see. My car doesnt run yet. I would think with that small cam you would see minimal gains.

 

yes! you can do the heads now. even if it doesnt make all the difference now the next cam you put in you can put the heads into the equation and end up way better in the end. comp cams will spec out a cam for free if you send them a sheet. it takes a little while but they have never let me down.
