Hey guys, I know the info is supposed to be out there, but im having a hell of a time finding it, maybe this is sticky material.

2.8 mpfi camaro hard lines to the lt1 lines....
Can anyone tell or show with links Exactly what i need to, or should buy..
I understand I can mate the two with a set of adapters on one end or the other, but I cant find out what that is. I also realize my other choice is to put all new braided fuel lines in the car.

I went to a few auto parts stores, apparently they cannot look up what size or fitting is used, and NEED TO SEE the lt1 fuel rail and the ones on my car... I dont understand how they cant look two STOCK pieces of information up, but anyone, im at a loss, and have no idea what to buy...

Can anyone help with a link or two? or some number I can go to the auto parts store with.

Contact Pure Choice Motorsports, you can find them online or call (888) 505-8355. Real knowledgable staff. I called them told them what I was doing he knew exactly what I needed. I believe it was 120 bucks after shifting for really nice steel braided lines. Fit perfect and look amazing.

Dont cheap out and try and do it yourself with janky adapters. Wouldnt want a hose to bust and pump gas at 40psi into your engine bay.

 

Yea, feed line is 3/8ths, and return is 5/16ths. You need quick connects on the LT1 fuel rail and I was told the ends of our factory fuel lines were the same ends as power steering lines. For my setup, I'll be using factory quick disconnect lines from a different gm car. After my car is all together, I'll post up how they are. But for $7 for all the line i needed and everything sure beats $120, and you can't say skimping is bad, because this is factory GM stuff, not fancy like braided lines, but factory parts none the less. I'll post details within the next two to three weeks when my car is all together.

 

Are you wanting to convert to -AN fittings and braided lines?

 

The actual fittings on the hardlines coming from the tank and connecting to the lines under the hood that go to your throttle body are 16mm X 1.5 for pressure side and 14mm X 1.5 on the return side.

I am really not too sure what you're needing. I posted a while back with pictures. Not sure where that thread is now lol.

 

made my own using quick disconnects from Auto Zone, some FI hose clams, FI hose and the original hoses that went to the V6 fuel rail, haven't had a leak in over 5 years and holds pressure like it should

Ok guys here is what I did... I bought the quick disconnect 3/8 and 5/16 for the lt1 fuel rail it came with hose fittings i cut the ends off the body lines and put the new lines inside the body lines with the hose joiner fittings, and used high pressure fuel line hose clamps to hold it all together worked really nice,

I would suggest against simple clamps on a high pressure EFI line

 

they are high pressure fuel line clamps

 

Cut the plastic line off the quick connect barbs and run your EFI hose all the way up. Clamping down on plastic lines is risky business

 

Yeah, the quick disconnects I used were metal with flares on them, I cut the hard lines that went to the fuel rail of the V6 on the side that went to the factory rubber lines, flared the ends and put them on the other side of the FI hose I bought.
