LSX/4L60E swap Shift Linkage?
What should I do to get the linkage to work on my 4l60e? I have the original shift linkage from the 700R4. Can the 4th gen linkage be used or is there a way to use the 700r4 linkage with the 4l60e? (Trans has a male screw type connector, as does the linkage) Male on male.

Just use the shift arm off the 700r and the linkage bolts on. The 700r uses the same pan as a 4L60E.

Get one from a JY or trans shop. The 700R4 cable fits fine, just move the bracket one bolt forward
I would suggest attaching the cable end to the inside of the arm for maximum exhaust clearance. It's going to be tight in there
