Finishing Swap. Where to get adapters?
I am finishing up my swap and ive been looking for various brass fittings and adapters to finish things up. I cannot find anything I need in stores, or online. (Found a couple sites online, none ship to Canada though).
I have been to auto parts stores, hardware and plumbing stores, no luck.
What I need is some kind of adapter to go from the heater hose outlet on the rad to the little 1/4" steam line. I know you guys have done it before, I think BlueZee28 got some fittings from Home Depot, but I found nothing here at Home Depot. I also need 3/8 to 5/16 adapters for the tranny lines going into the rad (rad takes 5/16 fittings, trans takes 3/8). I also need a 3/8 to 1/2 (I believe) barbed adapter to hook up my brake booster. I don't think I can squeeze the 3/8 hose onto the booster.
Any help with these things would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Finishing Swap. Where to get adapters?
For my steam line, I made a Tee from a short length of 3/4" pipe and a section of trans hardline. Itd be simple to make by drilling and tapping a straight union coupler then inserting a 1/4" barb if a welder and scrap tubing isnt available
I used a short length of hardline from the trans and rad to slip the rubber lines over. Overlap is about 4" and I double clamped them. Be sure to use 5/16 trans hose. I mistakenly bought 3/8 the first time and had a small leak
Buy a LS1 booster valve, common parts stores should sell replacements for under $5 or get one from a dealer. Me being cheap, I heated up the stock 3/8 line and shoved it over the LS1 1/2 nipple. Id have to cut it off to remove, but it seals fine
