Pondering LS3 swap

Axle/Gears: Ford 8.8"/3.55 LSD
Pondering LS3 swap
I'm pondering an LS3 swap and have been searching the forum for information on transmissions. I've figured out what would be needed for the engine, but when it comes to the trans, I've not found much past a the basic requirements for a T56 swap.
I've been thinking of either rebuilding and reusing my 700R4 or swaping to a TKO 600, but I've not found any info on using either of these transmissions, let alone what would be required for each. About the only data I've found is in the LS1 swap sticky and it says that its possible to use a 700R4 and nothing about a TKO 600.
The LS3 would be the E-Rod engine. It comes with everything and is a great base for future mods. I'm looking at primarily AX for the car, so I'm very open to the auto to manual swap.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
