Car: 89 IROC-Z
Engine: 6.2 LS3
Transmission: MN12 T56 GTO
Axle/Gears: 3.73
shorty headers for ls1,2,3,ect.
bbk and edelbrock make shorty headers make for the 10 camaro, i was just wondering if anyone has tried these on there ls1 swap on there third gen.to see if it would fit ..i know i rather have the LT headers but just a thought...

i do like the edelbrock shortys just wish the primary tube/collector was bigger like the ones from bbk

looks like it could work, especially with a 3rd gen stock style exhaust routing
dont have all the angles though, not sure if hte collectors would hit the steering shaft. it almost looks like the collectors are aiming out, which would not work

#5&6 plug look pretty rough to get to with the BBK headers
I dont see a whole lot of difference in those headers vs the 98-02 Fbody shorties. I like how the BBKs label the manifolds as "restrictive" even though they are essentially a cast version of BBKs header

you'd probably have better luck (and lower costs) by sticking with 4th gen shorties. more vendor out there, we know the stock mani's fit no problem, probably some used ones out there too for little cash

I have a set of 10 camaro manifolds, when i do the swap in my 86 TA i will see if the fit right, but they are for doing a turbo project on the car.

I tried a set of them when I first did my swap and they did not work. The dumps were right on top of the k member.

Yeah that is what I originally thought too. But the 98-02 manifolds kick back further than the 2010 manifolds.
