in the headlight areas, the turbo would be sideways, only way it would really fit.

something like this. but move the compressor side alittle more toward the fender. gives plenty of room for the exhaust and downpipe. helps when you have a turbo on hand to look at.

no leave it in. use a short filter and cut a hole where the battery and the evap canister used to be. you'll need to relocate the battery to do this. and run the boost pipes through the cut holes and have a 2 inlet (one on each side intercooler with a exit on one side. id suggest it come out the top but it would likely hit the hood latch. the exhaust should clear going by the motor just depends on what size pipe. this is why i chose to go n/a soooooo much less stuff to worry about. this is a setup on a 94 camaro.

Battery is going to be relocated to the trunk area anyway.
And no hood latch. Hood pins will hold it down.

So the top exit for the intercooler would be used.

Sounds like a good idea mounting them sideways.

no fenders wells. May be an option. and that intake a super or regular vic?

Unless you do extensive fabrication and hand make your front suspension, you have to keep the inner fender wells. They are part of the "frame" since the struts mount to them.

It would be a last ditch effort to get them to fit. I would rather keep them and seems like I should unless I want to get nasty with the welder

Is there anyway to mount the air inlet like the 5.0 foxbody guys in the fender?

Re: Pics of Twin turbo LSX

yes you could. you'd just have to remove the stock horn. and move some relays. then build you a plate to mount the filter to

Ohh it can be done. Just takes some welding and bending.
