LT1 swap need help

I Just bought 96 impala lt1 and i want it to be odb1 but i have no idea how to work these harness.. I need no anybody who can recommend to mod the wires.. Also i m not sure what headers to get or should i go with 98-02 camaro mainfold??

i would talk to pocket about the harness hes seams to be the wire master of the site.. altho its mainly lsx swaps.. i belive all u would have to do is get a wireing harness and computer from a 96 or 97 and it would be obd2

The 96 to 97s just have extra wires in their harness. Just swap in a 95 pcm and have it programmed if necessary. May have to go with a 95 knock sensor

Do these harness might be overwhelm for me lol. Hope pocket will get ahold of me asap need to get my baby run asap due to college.. Are there anyone who can suggest me what headers will be best or should i just go ahead run 98 to 02 camaro mainfolds?

if u need to get it running asap just pull the motor and trans assembly out and get it in ur car and run the stock wiring and harness for now and when u can afford it or have the time then get the different harness

im in the process of doing my lt1 swap also.. im using a 93 trans am tho.. nothing much different.. but as for the headers just pull the motor out and look at the heads if the headers fit up then ur good just get gaskets.

98-02 manifolds wont work for a LT1. LT1s reuse the 3rd gen SBC exhaust. SBC headers work too, just be sure the primaries are 1 5/8" or larger to cover the special D-ports. You can buy D-port headers too, they're less common and more expensive than generic round port headers most mfrs build

93-97 Fbody LT1 LTs have the same problem hitting the frame rails as the LS1 cars

sweet so my lt headers from my orignal 91 tbi will work.. thank god.. thought i had paid to get the jet coated and wrapped for nothing there for a lil bit..
