Who is running an LS1 with tubular K member? Cars sitting too high in front end
So I put a tubular k member, and tubular A arms, along with eibach pro kit lowering springs on my car when I did the ls1 swap. But the car sits about roughly an inch and a half or so high in the front compared to the back. Any one else have this problem?

I'm getting ready to start the same swap and have read alot of posts on here. Most all of them say it will raise your front end about an 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches. Also if you havent driven your car much since you put it back together it will settle some as all the parts seat correctly.

Yeah, but it's not going to settle that much. Didn't know what ppl were doing to get them to set right.

The LS1 weights significantly less than your old SBC so it will raise some. K-members dont affect ride height unless the company completely fudged the A-arm mount locations

Yes the LS1 raises the front of the car. But a couple of things can also contribute to your front end being high.
New springs could have something to do to it..until they settle and break in.
If you didnt wait until the car was on the ground or at ride height before tightening the a-arm bolts, it can bind and give you some extra height until things settle. And they can settle quite a bit.
I always get confused when people say they have height issues especially with Eibachs. Since Im running a Prokit with no other mods and my car sits perfect. I got my springs lightly used, so I can only assume the springs broke in and settled out. Just weird that some people have issues and others dont.

The Tubular K member is alot lighter than the stock that's the reason I mentioned it. The car may just need to settle, but I didn't think it would settle that much if it did.
