Throwing a Code? P0200

having trouble with a P0200 code:

Injector Circuit Malfunction

ohm'd all of my injectors(they checked fine and are completely rebuilt). all injector plugs had the same voltage. with a test light i checked to see if they were grounded out and came up OK there too.....

any help would be appreciated. when i installed the harness i noticed there was a small cut on one of the wires on the third injector plug back on the passenger side. but the voltage checked out?....

it runs a bit rough on the bottom, but i'm just running the tune from frost. runs out great at the top end, and i'm showing no misfires on my interceptor gauge.

Re: Throwing a Code? P0200

went through and unplugged all the plug wires, unplugged the coil harness and coil plugs, still no change.

showing 6v to each injector plug with the key on and engine off.

one thing i did notice today. one 02 sensor is registering 440-450 when off and idling, the other runs mid 900s when idling and about 50 when the engine is off.....

did i already foul one of my 02's, could this be the cause of the P0200?

help, please!

Re: Throwing a Code? P0200

think i figured it out....it was a ground issue...added 1 more to the back of the block. now it has no trouble idling, finding idle, and has no stumble...crisp throttle response.

i noticed that i have (3) 02's showing on the fronts. the #2 is the one not reading, the #1 & #3 are working properly.

hopefully this proves to be the solution and i don't jinx myself!

Re: Throwing a Code? P0200

Should have 12v IGN on all 8 of the injectors and coils

http://www.obd-codes.com/p0200

IGN off, perform these tests
Ohm out the injectors, then do a resistance test between the 12v wire of each of the injectors and coils. Just for the heck of it do a resistance test from each 12v wire to ground

The link has some good tests too with the noid light

Doesnt seem like an open injector circuit though or itd throw a P020x for the respective injector

Re: Throwing a Code? P0200

back to the code again in the past cleaning or adding a ground has fixed the issue.....

ohm'd all of my plug wires, checked to make sure all of my connections were good.

ran most of the tests from my above posts. still only pulling a p0200 and no other misfire codes. i've been reading too many different "this fixed its". everything from a pcv line, spark plug wire, bad harness wire, to a bad ecu.........

i'm hoping its something right in front of me that i'm missing....need to try a noid light, also trying to get my hands on an 0411 so that i can rule out the drivers in the ecu.

Re: Throwing a Code? P0200

tested all my injector plugs with a noid light...#5 is dead. ohm'd the signal wire from the ecu and it was .9 ohms. couldn't figure out how to ohm the other wire, need to find a diagram and see where the other end is.....

Re: Throwing a Code? P0200

turns out the ground on #5 was broke just behind the pin. new chunk of wire and and its running better/smoother than ever.
