The GTO drive train will require a swap to f-body oil pan, tray, and pickup.

I believe the shifter also needs to be relocated, but do your own of the LTx and LSx subforum (where this thread now is) for more details.

Re: Swap a Ls6 gto

GTO's didnt come with an LS6, its either an LS1 (2004), or an LS2 (2005-2006)

As previously mentioned you need to swap the oil pan, windage tray, pickup tube, and dipstick.

The transmission will require the F body shifter block to be swapped out in place of the GTO piece, its around $25, after that you can bolt on an f body shifter.

The GTO harness comes off the back of the engine on the drivers side, though this can be changed with a little effort when converting the harness.

Re: Swap a Ls6 gto

im doing the same swap and im almost done now. if your running ac i would just find a f body ac compressor its much easier. the angle of where the ac lines is the difference. or you can knotch the k member more to get it to work.
