lm7 auto to t56

Well i have been DD the camaro for a while and i think i want to swap in a 6 speed. Question is has anyone ever bought a 6 speed swap "kit" from hawks? I was looking at those but all i really need used is the tranny and pedals right? Everything els needs to be new anyways so i dont know if it would be worth it.
