question on throttle bodies

question on throttle bodies

I have the stock 5.3 truck throttle body and have the chance to pick up a throttle body off of a 01 camaro for cheap. Would there be any gain by going to the car tb? Do the sensors fit from truck tb to car tb?

Same thing with minor changes that do not affect performance in any way. All DBC TBs use the same rough casting

If the car TB you're looking at is ported/polished, you may pick up a little, but stock for stock cable TB theres no benefit

DBW TBs can get a benefit from larger OEM TBs as multiple castings were used from 78mm to 90mm. Car style TBs also got a faster motor than trucks

Not yet i am considering making 1 7/8 long tubes with true duel 3 inch exhaust. I plan on running nitrous also.
