There will be scoops under the front, on each side of the air dam.

Good question. We have run out of time before the Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge car show. The builder has taken all the measurements and will have them ready to install when we return from the trip. For now it is a cold air set up.
What we decided on was to be angled back slightly the way the factory air dam kind of curved back. Each would have a lip towards the outside edge to stop air from sliding past it. Whatever air hits the air center air dam without being forced up through the radiator will be forced into the intake. I assume they will be made of the same aluminum as the radiator shroud and either painted black or powder coated black chrome also.

How is the MAF sensor going to be able to meter air?

Be very careful in the rain. Ghettocruiser was running a low pickup and Hydro-Locked his engine going through a big puddle. Destroyed the engine.
Maybe you can work a setup where you get air down low at the track only.

You can put a bypass filter on the intake so if you do go in the water then it will draw air through it and not draw in water. http://www.aemintakes.com/air_bypass_valve.htm

It does look cool, but for overall performance I think you'd be just fine with a single pipe to one side or the other.

85mm MAF + single pipe + nice air filter = all you need. Just drawing in the air at ambient temperature is the key.

Just judging by the looks and numbers the car puts down, I doubt it sees wet weather, lol.

It is on a speed density tune and uses an IAT sensor.

Thanks. I am a little worried about that but our filters are a good 18 inches off the ground and slightly forward of the opening. Plus they are in a compartment with the ability to drain off water. I'm hoping that is sufficient.

No benefit to dual ram air at 120 mph? Not being sarcastic, just wondering.
