replace my hot cam springs with cca-987-16??
title says it..the valve springs that came with my lt4 hot cam kit are shot so im looking for a cheap replacement set of springs that I can pretty much throw in and go using the locks and retainers I already have, would these fit that crtiteria: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-987-16/ ,if not what would be a decent quality/cheap replacement for the lt4 hot cam kit springs? TIA

The springs in the kit are 1.32" diameter, while the 987's are 1.43" diameter. I couldn't find any specs on the LT4 Hot Cam Kit retainers.
Otherwise, the 987's should be fine.

Those will work but you need the matching retainers.

Replace the retainers, the hotcam retainers are junk. I had one fail and that was was with plenty of bind clearance.. these things suck. They are paper thin right on the chamfered edge where the spring sits. A wider spring will even make it worse
