LS1 Swap Complete but Idle issue

Ok so there is my swap in all of its glory. I just have one small issue that I cannot seem to work out. My idle is sitting around 500 RPMs when in gear, park, A/C on, A/C off.....if I press on the gas and let off the idles will dip down to 150-200 RPMs and sometimes just dies all together. I had the guy reflash the stock 2001 camaro settings to the PCM again but still the exact same problem. It idles great other than this and accelerates quiet well...just cannot get this annoyance fixed. Please someone help.

Re: LS1 Swap Complete but Idle issue

Mine was crazy low as well, but that was partially due to a stock LS1 tune and that I definitely did not have a stock cam/valvetrain/intake. To get it to idle enough not to die, I took the TB off and tightened the idle plate screw in enough to open the plate and where the IAC kicked in. It surged until I got it tuned properly, but it at least didn't die.

Re: LS1 Swap Complete but Idle issue

Check your IAC positionat hot idle. It should be between 40 to 60.
If it's too high the PCM cant open it up enough to add more air.

To adjust it if its too high, key off, unplug TPS, turn in airblade screw, key on, key off, plug in TPS, re-check. Repeat as required.

Awesome....I will track someone down with a scanner and see what it is doing. This process is the same regardless if it is a cable or electronic throttle body right?
