So my low 11's slips were getting boring (N20). So I desided to go with a Centrifugal supercharger to start with because I found a great deal on a CCW V-2, never used.

Here is the swap.

How she was, dirty but you get the Idea.

thanks, I am working on tuning at the moment. I am using GTP injectors around 40lbers at 58psi.

But I think my 255lph fuel pump is not going to cut it.

awesome job, how did you slot the crankshaft keyway without removing the crank and putting it on a milling machine?

Re: 6.0 getting boosted (A&A style) pic heavy

Question for anyone? What is the limit of a Walbro 255 fuel pump?

that is what I have in the tank. I am thinking I will need a 340-400lph.

What do you guys think?

Re: 6.0 getting boosted (A&A style) pic heavy

Well tuning is getting in the ball part.

with LTFT in about the +/- 3 range in most of the under 100kpa area. I did a few WOT tests. @ PE in boost of 1.25 up to 175kpa. I was seeing 12.3-5 afr's.

Increased the PE in boost up to 175kpa to 1.50 resulted in 10.6-10.8 AFR. (injectors and pump are OK so far)

I am getting just under 6psi with my 3.6" pulley 141kpa max @5800 (5.8psi).

I have a 3.4" A&A pulley that I will tryout this week.

P.S. I think I am going to need a brake upgrade...

Re: 6.0 getting boosted (A&A style) pic heavy

I installed the 3.4" pulley and that resulted in 154kpa at 6100rpm. (7.8psi)

11.0 afr @ 14deg of timing advanced on 93 pump gas, zero knock

The intake temps are great at 75 degrees, with 70degree temps outside.....

I would like those boost number sooner, so maybe a 3.2" pulley is needed. Maybe after a trip to the track.

I have to re-plumb the nitrous system now.

Re: 6.0 getting boosted (A&A style) pic heavy

Looks nice

Id pull that pinched off EGR tube and replace it with an expanding rubber plug for a better seal. The EGR tube didnt seal that great NA, cant imagine all of youyr boost is contained by it now

Also, look to an idler reinforcement bracket. C5/6 accessory brackets are notorious for snapping the lower idler off with a SC

better yet here is a few better shots... https://amzn.to/2LsSEWf

Re: 6.0 getting boosted (A&A style) pic heavy

Hey I got a few questions.
How was the fitment for the Allstar dipstick?
Did you get the corvette ps pump for clearance or is there some sort of advantage?
Did you ever up the boost and is this a stock internals engine?
Thanks for all the great info.

Re: 6.0 getting boosted (A&A style) pic heavy

  • Fitment of the Allstar was pretty good, slight bending but much much better to fill and check
  • A&A sc bracket is designed for a C5 so accessories should be corvette
  • boost is at 9-10ish at 6000rpm, with a 3.4 pulley
  • Stock LQ4 with Pac springs and sloppy cam.
