Fuel pressure regulator

Guys, i'm debating on what to do to regulate the fuel pressure on my ls swap. everyone seems to use the corvette filter/regulator. by the time you buy all the fittings, hoses, etc it's almost the same cost as going with the hawks aeromotive fuel regulator without all the work.. thoughts?

Re: Fuel pressure regulator

BPR Hotrods sells a nice setup with the C5 regulator and lines for $399. They also have a kit with and adjustable regulator for $499.

Re: Fuel pressure regulator

Work, lines, and cost aside, the Corvette Regulator got my nod because in the event of regulator failure you could have the Corvette one changed out on the side of the road in minutes vs. a tow and a few days for Aeromotive replacement.

that was my thought also... but the rebuild for the aeromotive is cheap i could have one in the car in case.

Re: Fuel pressure regulator

The other benefit of the corvette regulator is you do not have to mess with adjusting the pressure, just run it and go.
