92 tpi enging shut down
street rod 92 tpi will shut down when door is opened..orwhen fan controller comes up to 150 deg..has blowen fuses to fan... will a small short be enuf to short out the ground on the ecm.Will start right up again..open the door and quits again .4 dome lights in the car wireing....door switch.. what will trip the ground for the ecm ? Did you just put this together? What did you do, tie your ECM power into the interior lighting?

is this a spam bot? If not I'm going to guess you are missing the ground strap from the body to the engine. The load of the interior lights is pushing your electrical potential on the ECU below its threshold. (or about 1000 other possible ground issues) Does engaging the headlights or power windows also shut it down? If not you may have accidentally used the interior light circuit as your ground, it will ohm to ground because of how incandescent bulbs work.
