Dude I hate black wheels but that actually looks like it works well with your car. I dont like wheels with no dish either, but like I said, it actually seems to work with your car. Nice.

I love black rims and those look great on your car! I think they would look even better if you painted you headlight pockets black.

Re: The *NEW* Z06 wheels

a 255/40 is acceptable on a 9.5 inch wide wheel. its probably so the tires dont rub while turning the wheels

Re: The *NEW* Z06 wheels

i wasnt worried about acceptability because you could put a much smaller tire on there like a 235 and that would be really stretched. i was just wondering why make it different than the rear. the stretch is noticeable in the pics. essentially its 2 cm narrower than the rear one which isnt much

Re: The *NEW* Z06 wheels

Maybe they were the tires off some old rims?
Looks great though.

Personally, I think big n littles look goofy on a thirdgen, unless it is a drag car.
I had 225 front and 275 on the back for a little bit, it looked ridiculous IMO, and it handled like $h!t. The heavy nose of our cars really beats a smaller section tire.
I guess it all depends on how much narrower the fronts are, no one is going to notice a 245/255 combo in a picture.

Re: The *NEW* Z06 wheels

I't be ok if the rims were ALL black. The fake rivets and the silver bits wreck it for me. I had to really look to see if those were Z06 rims

However----I like whats under the hood

You may consider a 275/35 vs. 255/40.

Slick ride.

Re: The *NEW* Z06 wheels

I'm wondering what I need for spacers on the 18x10.5 and 17x9.5 combo. Planning on running 275/35/18's and 245/40/17's feedback?

I believe I ran a 2.5" spacer up front and a 1.5" spacer in the rear and the offset was perfect.
