Heres a few pics of my 1987 RS. As far as i know they only made about 6500 of these and they were only available in California. Take a look.

The one thing I dislike about your car is the same-color pocket headlights, BUT other than that, your ride is absolutely amazing. Is that just a grant steering wheel?

Re: My 87 Camaro RS

Thanks man. Yeah its a grant wheel but it was on there when i bought it so i dont know how much was paid for it. Ive seen ones that look exactly like it for around 60 bucks but it didnt have a horn button like mine. It definately feels better than the stock wheel to me tho from the others ive driven.

Re: My 87 Camaro RS

I have an autotechnica wheel that I was going to put on, but it looks too rally-car wheel. I like 'em small, but this just doesn't scream attitude like yours does. I'll drop by my local parts shop and get my hands on one of those.

My current wheel is a Trans AM wheel. It's amazing, the leather is SO nice, but I mean, it's not Camaro, and I'd sooner have a stellar aftermarket wheel than a Trans AM, not saying that Trans AM's are bad, but just not a Camaro wheel. Lordco here I come.

flat black those headlight pockets and it'd look sooo much better. single color front bumpers make your car look like you just got it back from the bodyshop after rear ending someone.

the dash pad is out there, but other than that, clean car!

Re: My 87 Camaro RS

thanks. haha you shoulda seen the interior when i bought it. he had the whole thing covered in that nasty **** carpet; from the seats to around the gauges and center console. thats why i painted em red cause they were covered in adhesive. even the headliner and sail panels were covered.

Im just waitin to get another dash pad cause i know thats covered in adhesive too and the previous owner said there was a few cracks in it.

Re: My 87 Camaro RS

always nice cleaning up someone elses hatch job huh?

shouldn't have a problem finding that stuff on ebay, might have to go ahead and repaint (again) that shifter plate, seeing manual plates get pretty pricey.

Re: My 87 Camaro RS

Of all the parts of a Camaro, the center console and the dash are the EASIEST pieces to find, and the most needed. Finding the damn arm rests that haven't cracked yet are the hardest to find. Aargh.

I guess when they did start making the RS late in the 87 year, it was only made available in California.
