Quality Detailing Pays off...

A friend of mine has a very nice camaro. Usually gets best of show.
I'm sure some here know the car. I'll let him chime in and claim the fame.

About 20hrs into detailing the last few days. Notice the perfect Black Paint. Ive never seen Black looks this good. !! I'm in wow every time I head over his house.

I Just finished up on the Billet Emblems. They are Billet Aluminum machined on a CnC. I took his stock emblems and did the design to a T in mastercam. You wont find anything like these anywhere. Then color matched to his car and polished to a mirror finish.

anyways enjoy the pic's. I have more I'll dig out and post of the complete car.

I was referring to the black paint, the emblems are sweet. the second set of pics make the black paint look better. Thanks for not taking my opinion to heart, I cant make my moms BRAND NEW car look that good..

heres my friends, dad's/ex gf's uncle's 86 z28 the pic sucks but the paint is flawless

Re: Quality Detailing Pays off...

Not bad...The emblems, I mean.

I used to work in a CNC shop, and the biggest tolerances we dealt with, were +-.003 I can see a seam around the CAMARO, where 2 passes were made. I would have made the final, full depth pass, another .005 smaller, so there was no seam.

Not bad though. But, why just CAMARO, instead of Z28, 383, 500hp or something? Kinda makes it look like something a V6 would have.

Re: Quality Detailing Pays off...

Nice work Chris!!! That is Black88cam's car right? The emblems look great on a great example of show car third gen. I love my emblems and still get complements on them everytime I show, so I'm sure he will too... if people can get past how clean he engine bay is!!!!

Chris PM me about my nose emblem.
