Pretty much these are both of my camaros, the black one's my daily driver that i just picked up for 1 grand. It's a good running car right now, only thing that's wrong with it is the whole front got smashed by somthing (wasn't my doing lol) it's primiored black and the rim's are the same (once again, not my doing)

what i want to do to it is fix the front end and get it painted black and put silver racing stripes on it, rim wise, I don't really know what to do, so if you have any idea's feel free to say what you think would look good

the white one was my first camaro my uncle gave to me, run's like a top, but i gotta let it go, i'm more of a fan of my 92 rs then of this 86 SC

anyways let me know what you guys think

Re: Both of my Camaro's

I have a 92 RS and a 86 SC and I understand your situation. However I can't bring myself to get rid of the 86. I often wonder if I did what type of owner would get the car and how would they keep the car up. The 92's are better made inside and out. Still I want to keep my 86. Both of my sons learned to drive with that car so i won't sell. Really think it through before you decide.

Re: Both of my Camaro's

yea to the guy who said i looked 12, F Off, and the sc is the better running of the 2 and has less miles, and i learned to drive in it.. but the 92's seriously has all i want, and it's mileage is the perfect reason to talk my grandpa into buying a 350 for me to put in .... idk you bring up a good point about who would get their hands on it next.. and that honestly scared me away from wanting to really less it, i'd hate to hear a few months later it got wrapped arond a pole or somthing like that.. i just wanna get a paint job on the rs, and fix that front end

Re: Both of my Camaro's

You were talking about dropping in a 350. Why not sell both and buy a GTA. You cant go wrong 350, t tops, dig dash, all the bells and whistles. I went from a 305 to a 350. Wished I would just put the money in a GTA.

Those are Washington plates on that pair

Where in Washington are you? We have a member of our local Thirdgen crew who did the LT1 swap into a 1989 RS and at the moment it is primer black, it suits it well. I think yours looks good that way too

Re: Both of my Camaro's

Yea i do need to lighten up, just took it serious at first..

And i'm in the Tri-citys (kennewick to be exact) ever since i was a little kid i wanted my 86 sc, my uncle owned it, but then i read alot more on them, and saw the 91-92 gfx and really wanted one, now that i got the black one i'm hooked, it's only a v6, but that exhaust makes it fun when i pull up to lights and have people ask what i've got under the hood.. my overall goal is to fix the 92 up and get the front fixed (all i need is just the rubber front bumper and i've got all i need) get it painted black again, and get either a SS hood, or a Daytona and get a hawks 5in spoiler, i think it'd look sick and also throw in a carb 350 and rip out all the computer stuff
----------
btw, i love those dakota digital gauges.. i wish i could afford to put a set on my 92

Re: Both of my Camaro's

I agree with you about the GFX. My 92 is my daily driver, it's also a V6, and the one I put those gauges in (they're pricier for the 90-92 because they need to be custom made from original bezel & housing). I also have an 89 that I'm working on as a project, but it already has the V8 (TBI 305). All I've been able to do with it so far is fix the suspension and install headers and cat-back exhaust - engine work comes later after more suspension work and drive-line upgrades.

Sounds like you've already decided which way to go with them. Keep one as a daily driver and fix the other as you see fit It's hard to beat the gas mileage of the V6.
