So the last show of the year. huge 700 or so cars probably...in Long island NY...so i jus finished fixin the car so i figured id take it there see what happens....took 3rd....not bad considering i didnt have a fire ext, owners manuals and gas oil and water cans...cost me a ton of points...so the judge told me first if i get all that stuff so now i need all that stuff...but in any case hers the car...let me kno what you guys think any suggestions and likes or dislikes...but here is the future plans...

ok the pic of the inside is old and dirty ha, now its all done up...new shifter custom pannels and whatnot...cage coming soon

the motor no pics on the laptop but its a built 355 with forged internals and 7.5:1 comp for a blower...got a ford 9 inch for her last week too...let me kno what you think guys...

oh and as for the exhaust...its hooker super comps to a TRUE dual all the way over the rear to two dynomax 6 inch round race mufflers...it sounds sick with that motor...loud as hell too...painted it black to go with the lights and the wheels are next...

yeah lights look good man, but that is not paint on the front cover, thats cut clean by yours trully and so is the grille and the reinforcement bar its a clean shot from the front lip to the radiator, but the intercooler is going in there soon...if you look close you can see the side skirts i made to channel the air to the rad...custom indeed...and if anyone knows of a good place to get honey comb material to match the grilles in my hood so i can make a grile for it...please let me know

yeah i got rid of the side markers, and everything else cept the gas cap, no handles no emblems no markers no stripe in the back bumper everyhitng is gone ...i got carried away when i started doin late nights with body work lol

no hids yet, but i am putting in a set from a audi tt, none of that aftermarket garbage that burns out fast...german stuffs good

yeah i never understood the can and manuals and whatnot either...but next year im def having them painted to match the car ofcourse...

dude i would have said hi, but i didnt recognize the car from here. tail lights look amazing btw, next season, we should have a thirdgen space at all the local shows. belmont, bellmore and bald hill. there's usually the l.i.f.b.a. (long island f-body association) and they come as a group, but very few thirdgens in that club these days. we need a thirdgen thing here in n.y. cruise nights would also be pretty cool, there's lots of long islanders on here. we should take over deer park ave on night

 

im in lifba next year for sure...couple guys from here are in there as well, i was at bellmore few times this year...but yeah we should def get all of us together one nite and jus empty the gas tanks....so lets get sumthing goin

ahha yeha i donno why my topic ended up in here but in anycase, the taillights i did myself with nightshade i made myself...i can do them for ppl if you want to ship your tails to ny and whatnot lol...but as fora as cruising goes...yeah...**** fast lsx club...with the blower this thing is gonna be a low 10 sec car so ill take any of them on with thier ls whatevers lol...but yeah definatelly gotta get sumthing goin on in the spring...

Car is gorgeous.. There's plenty of room for a HUGE front mount intercooler there.. It would compliment that SC very nicely..

no that is not stock ride height...it has the prokit in the front...but the car is gutted barelly nothing but the motor in the front so it sits a little high...but its gettin airbags in the spring...

and yes the plans for a front mount were in my head when i did that mod to the bumper...

as far as the tinting of the tails goes...i really dont kno....how dark you want them...do you want all the numbers sanded off ...im in ny where are you....

Just to clear a few things up. Fastlsx.com is not a club its a website owned by me and LIFBa uses the site as there forum. Its just another forum on the net. BTW whenever you get that blower car ready There are plenty of ls whatever cars ready to run you anytime for some $$$. There are even a couple of third gens that would be happy to trim ya up too.

Are you sure you are in lifba? All events are lifba events . Fastlsx.com does not really have any events. The lifba guys are nice enough to include anyone who goes onto the fastlsx.com website in there meets / cruises / dyno days etc..

I know everyone really likes the 3rd gens on fastlsx and in lifba and they would like to see more at the meetings and on the cruises. BTW dyno day coming next month if your interested. shoudl be like 50 bux for 3 pulls

 

Absolutely... I have been in LIFBA for 2 years now. They have tons of events, cruises, meetings... this year we got a 2 page typed calender of everything that was going on. I have met some really great friends through the club.The thirdgen crowd in LIFBA is growing, check us out and then you can criticize...

 

am i sure?? ah yeah, i recently joined about a yr ago.. the website sucks, and i never get a newsletter or any info on anything. i vote for a long island thirdgen club.

I have owned 3rd gens in the past and i am currently looking for another one. I am not threatening anyone with $$$ races. when I saw this guy had posted he was gunna beat all us fastlsx ****ers and responded to the post and mentioned what was available. Should i have not said anything? I think its a good thing i responded to the post. Why wouldnt i if you say somehting on a public forum you are gonna get answers. ITs ok If you dont like the other site Ill get over it . This is a hobby to have fun and thats why i set up the site.. BTW 2k into a ls1 car should be 11`s all day long atleast it was for me back in 01-02. I never put down the 3rd gens and i am looking to buy another one but dont say ls1 are crap because they are fast. We are all changing the same parts heads / cams / intakes etc and just because I had enough money to buy a new ls1 car doesnt mean im a bad guy. I invest time and money into my cars the same as anyone else. Dont be so defensive about your cars...
