Well, I wouldn't call it touching up. I had a little paint left over from the wheels, I just restored and I was curious if it matched. So I sprayed over with what I had left. I wasn't really worried if it didn't work. I was gonna take to the local shop and have it done. Now that time is getting away from me, I might just sand down the rough edges on the tip, primer it and actually put a couple of coats on it. It should last for this show season. Maybe next year I can replace the lower valence. It has that pushed down and back look most of these cars seem to get.

Now a little info on the car. I bought it last November from a guy in Atlanta. I know the original owners bought the car in Illinois. It came with all documentation. It even came with the original sales agreement and loan paperwork. They traded a 92 Pont Bonneville that only had 780 something miles on it for this car. They even took pictures of themselves in the showroom. It has leather interior with power driver's seat. It has the Heritage Package and I think it's Group 3 option package. (I guess I could get the sticker down.) The thing that sold me on the car was it has a little history. It was used by GM as a showpiece at the 25th Anniversary Celebration in Chicago, Feb 7,1992. The original owners were sent a picture of the Illinois Camaro Club having their picture taken.

That is my car under the cake.
It does have quite a bit of surface rust on the rearend housing, from suspension pieces and I'm going to have to finish replacing the exhaust, but it's still in great shape and drives like new. I'm sure over the years to come I'll get the minor blemishes taken care of.

Thats awesome. My Heritage Z28 was from Southern Illinois. I had to fly out there and drive it home haha. Beautiful car though (as always), are you planning on modifying anything?

That is a beautiful car. I guess it's like my Anti-matter car with the color scheme? Actually, I bought this car as a daily driver that I was gonna rack up 70 miles per day on. After realizing the rarity of this car, being used as the showpiece for their 25th Anniversary party, I have decided not to put aftermarket wheels on it or any other mods. I plan on leaving it as close to stock or "restored" as possible.
