It was such a nice day, I couldn't resist putting in the new marker lights I bought off of ebay. I think the new set looks much better than the old amber set. Anyway here are the pics

Is the hood hanging out over the nose? in pics it's hard to tell. Looks like the nose needs pushed out just a little.

 

i love the look of the lights , but what do i know . i think they good on my white camaro , iv'e had mine for several years .

 

Where did you get your center cap emblems or w/e you want to call em? I have found sets on ebay but wasn't sure if they'd fit the iroc replicas.

how would i go about doing that to my lights ??? they pass inspection??

 

Very nice! But its crying out for some IROC decals or at the least pinstripes. Helps break up all that white.

 

looks great with the clear side markers, doesn't have the orange to distract

 

Those center caps are my stock ones off of my stock rims.

I thought about putting the decals back on but the plain look is growing on me.

 

I am actually considering putting this car up on ebay. I have found a 68 that I wanna restore and if I decide to sell this car, it would really help to finance the 68 restoration.

good luck on the restoration. I've got a 67 SS here I've been contimplating on picking up and restoring, but it needs a ton of work

I'm a big fan of plain white, no pin stripes, no nonsense look. And like that you don't have the plastic door molding. I'm not a fan of the tail light covers though. The only thing I would do is drop the car 1" if you we're to keep it. My Z is white too.

 

i think it could use the decals but thats just my its what u like that counts

Photobucket is where I host my pics and they scale them down to 800X600. I don't know why they look like like considering they are much larger pics. If you right click on the pic and go to properties, it will tell you the size they already are.

Yea, when I was stripping down the car, those were the first things to go out the door. Since this car rarely gets driven, I am not worried about door dings.

I don't have an up close pic of them on the car, but here they are right after they were made.

 

i like the side markers, and i think they would only look good on white. i think they would stand out like a sore thumb on my black camaro. i couldnt even tell they were there at first.

Yeah I prefer the OEM markers on my black cars too. I do think what rims you have play a part in it too.

I like the clear marker lights. I have thought about using the smoked Marker lights. I think it would be a cool look.

Man you Iroc is SICK. I love the look and the iroc replicas. What size are they? I Like the iroc door decals but not the pin stripes. My 86 no longer has those simple lines anymore... Its getting an updated/custom apperance. lol
