Re: my project(frequent updates):)
heres the rear plastic panels in my trunk that i got sick of looking at because of all the scratches and stuff, plus they were faded tan and black so they were quite ugly, so i restored them to a nice shiny black

It's looking real good man, I'm doing the samething to my 92 RS, and I'm doing my interior first. Eh, and a motor swap, but I'm doing it slow as well. I do a little everynight when I get home, and I'm at the point where the interior doesn't smell like a standing puddle of water, my wife even goes for rides in it now lol.

Not real clear, but it shows some of the interior. I've stripped by Camaro down six ways from Sunday so if you need anything let me know.

Holy crap, that's an awesome Z! Was the door molding for that car taped on or did you paint over the rivet holes? I usually don't like the gray gfx on the early Zs but those look sweet. Hopefully my car will look that good when I get around to restoring it.

Re: my project(frequent updates):)
The molding must have been adhesive because I didn't smooth any holes over. The GFX is actually Mercedes Benz silver.

Re: my project(frequent updates):)
We all like yours. I like to keep up with 84 owners to trade notes and the only sure way is to post in each others threads. When I was putting mine together I downloaded a million pictures of other 84 owners so I could get everything right. I was thinking that you could do the same through my car. Another good way is to look on Ebay for 84 Z28's and download pictures. Your car is coming together very nice.
One suggestion I will make is when you paint your interior use "Trim Black." It's a satin black paint that makes your plastic look new. If it's not shiney enough then you can spray clear on them. Both come in rattle cans for about $4.00 each at any auto parts that sell paint. I use it on everything, door sills, console, dash pad, glove box, everything that is black and can come off gets painted with "Trim Black".

yea thanks for the help, i think im gonna look into the paint die for the interior but that sounds like a good idea too, the only thing i dont like on our 84s is the front chin spoiler i like the round one that doesnt have the holes if the middle... what do you think

Did you have the sway bar off? If you did, then thats when you need to repaint it. How's it handle now? better?
